Randall F. Plimpton
Vice President, Engineering & Operations
Randy Plimpton has over thirty-five years experience in managing and maintaining telephone and data networks. Mr. Plimpton administered a local exchange switching system as a central office supervisor for New York Telephone Company for more than fifteen years. Later, as Director of Eastern Operations for Frontier Communications, he supervised maintenance of a long distance network that served tens of thousands of customers.
A BICSI-certified Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), Mr. Plimpton coordinates and manages Riser engineering project teams, supervising personnel coordination, project tracking, budgeting, resources, and adherence to project deadlines.
Additionally, Randy oversees Riser’s day-to-day operation of building communications distribution systems (CDS) and building rooftop management.
